Watermelon Carnival 2026
July 31 - August 1
- Friday, July 31: Features a downtown street dance and a fireworks display. Live music includes a performance by Charlie Mars.
- Saturday, August 1: A full day of continuous entertainment, a parade, an antique car show, Touch A Truck, Fashion Show, BBQ Competition, and a 3K run.
- Watermelon Competitions: The famous heavyweight watermelon weigh-in takes place at noon, with the $1,000 first-place prize. There is also a Youth Watermelon Contest for local 4-H growers.
